THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS:

Arrival and Check-in:

• Upon arrival of your first visit you will be issued a key tag with barcode to be used for check in purposes upon each visit. Use the same key tag for the lifetime of your HPB Natatorium usage (Replacement tags are $6.00.) Entry will not be granted without a key tag.
• Arrive early for your class, once checked in, you will be able to enter the locker room about 10 minutes before your class starts.
• Parents and adults 18 or older will need to bring a Government-Issued Photo ID to be able to assist their child in the locker room area. We encourage you to walk your child safely down to class and then head up to the bleachers. Non-participating children must be at parent’s side when walking participant to class. No strollers on deck please.
• All children 6 years old and older are required to use their same-sex locker room. There are no exceptions to this policy. If you require assistance walking your child through the locker room, please ask at the front desk. Any additional assistance will need to be provided by an adult designee of the parent/guardian.

What to Bring:

• Participants will need to bring their swim suit and towel (a t-shirt or rash guard can be worn over a swim suit while in the shallow end if desired).
• Goggles can be worn during class; however, they cannot cover the nose (eyes only; no mask).
• Please bring a hair tie or use a swim cap to keep hair off face during lessons.
• Children who are not toilet trained must wear tight-fitting plastic pants or tight-fitting cloth reusable swim diapers into the pool. No disposable diapers are allowed in the pool.

• All diapers must be changed in the locker rooms, not on the pool deck area.

Parents and Misc:

• During swim/dive activities, parents and guests will be asked to watch from the balcony overlooking the pool rather than on the deck.
• Make-ups will not be given for any missed classes.
• Swim class fees do not include admittance to any open swim times.
